The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse with a bubbly personality, who is highly motivated, team-focused, a great communicator, with a genuinely caring nature and with a passion for women's health, to join our wonderful Christchurch-based team of fertility nurses.
Key Responsibilities
Our nurses work collaboratively to provide timely, proficient patient-centered services for all patients. Working with embryologists and multidisciplinary team members, they provide education, physical and psychological support to patients undergoing investigation and treatment for infertility. This position involves caring for patients in our treatment room and recovery area, and requires the ability to multi-task whilst providing quality service.
Ideal candidate, skills and experience
The successful candidate will be an energetic, compassionate, organised, professional individual with strong interpersonal skills, able to show initiative and motivated to be a value-added resource to our busy clinic and dedicated team.
- Experience in women's health and/or fertility nursing is an advantage, but not necessary.
- Must hold current NZ registration with the NZ Nursing Council. Training will be provided.
- Energetic, compassionate, organised
- Professional individual with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to show initiative and motivated to be a value-added resource to our busy clinic and dedicated team.
