The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and committed Senior Registered Nurse with hands-on leadership experience to be part of our busy team.  This role works closely with other disciplines in the clinic, as well as with the Clinic Lead and FA Nursing Director.  This is a full-time position (40 hrs /week) which may also include weekend coverage as part of a team roster.     

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working to provide excellent patient-centred care for individuals and couples undertaking all aspects of fertility treatment. It is preferable that applicants have prior fertility experience or alternatively, a keen interest in women’s health.

Ideal candidate, skills and experience:

  • outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all stakeholder levels
  • ability to speak to patients to ensure understanding in an empathetic manner, offering exceptional patient care 
  • has a warm yet professional demeanour 
  • experience with smooth management of daily clinic-based nursing activities and leading a small team
  • ability to effectively multitask and delegate
  • forward-thinking team leadership 
  • 'walks the talk' - is a role model for excellent patient care, follows FA protocols, and demonstrates calm under pressure
  • building and maintaining a positive and effective team
  • proven ability to motivate others, create a positive work environment and team culture
